Lost in New Zealand

…d’you think anyone will notice we’re in the wrong hemisphere?

leaving do

hello again,

We have just organised our leaving do, which you are all welcome to attend. It’s a bit of an informal afternoon – evening drink, but we’ll put some food on for you! Even if you can only pop in for 10 minutes to say hi, it would be lovely to see you. I will be sending a load of invites out this week so don’t worry if you haven’t heard from us yet..

Its on Sunday 15th July in a lovely pub with a beer garden and verandah, but I won’t publish details here just in case we get overrun by gatecrashers after some sausage rolls!! Get in contact tho’ and I’ll send you an invite.

We actually decided to go off to New Zealand in the first place whilst drinking Staropramen in their beer garden, so it’s nice to round off the plans there!

Course I’ll leave a spare room free! Perhaps not for a few weeks tho, as we will be living in a campervan/ tent, and it might be a tiny bit cramped :)

Hi Aunti Beryl,

July is the middle of winter here, and if this is as bad as it gets we will be fine. Lots of sun at the moment, still a few showers but not much.
We think summer should start about late Sept/October, and we should get xmas dinner on the beach!!
